What studios notice about attention
A useful conversation to have at the end of a term
A teacher who sees your child regularly may notice things that are hard to spot in one trial. I would ask about the moments between activities, what keeps their interest, and whether anything has changed over the term.
Ask for a specific example rather than a general verdict
- Find out which activities your child returns to
- Ask what helps during transitions
- Compare observations without expecting home and class to look identical
Worth considering
A teacher’s observations can help you understand the class experience. They are another perspective, rather than a diagnosis or a judgement of your child.
