English
A long, wonderfully messy session, with room to stay with an activity rather than hurry to the next thing.
What the session was like
One hour of free play across art stations
A guided stamping and brushstroke activity
One hour of outdoor water play
A closing music circle
What we loved
The mix of paint, drawing, sand and water, and the freedom to make a proper mess
What we noticed
Teachers were present but deliberately light-touch. Children led much of the exploring
Indoor art and outdoor water play made a varied morning, with time for longer stretches of play
Worth knowing
Our full session was around three hours. Wear old clothes, including your own
Cyberport Arcade was easiest by bus or taxi. We found a coffee shop next door and McDonald’s opposite
