Baumhaus is the No 2 Kindermusik school globally and has taught over 4,000 children since 2016, it is founded by Crisel and Carsten
Crisel has been on the other side of an audition. I wanted to know what a director is actually looking for, and whether it is the polished performance parents might imagine.
I asked what a director wants to see
“The directors don’t look for perfection. They look for the skills.”
“What is unique about every person is: do they have a concept to share?”
I asked about her own experience
“The casting director who hired me in Disney said, ‘Yes, you have a pretty voice, but I hear dozens of pretty voices — what is unique about you?’”
“The directors don’t look for perfection.”
